Eniig Case Study

Data silos eliminated. Company-wide collaboration made easy

logo-case-study-eniig

As a cooperative, Eniig provides electricity, fiber infrastructure, and district heating to nearly 400,000 customers. The company formed as a result of a merger between EnergiMidt and HEF in 2016. Prior to the merger, EnergiMidt and HEF were utilizing two different systems. The merger initiated the search for not only a new network management system, but also a way of migrating and converting the data from the old systems without corrupting or losing any data.

3-GIS was determined to be the best choice to solve both of these challenges, and a 6-month process of data migration, implementation, training, and enhancements began. Now, 3-GIS is being used by designers and project managers within Eniig’s fiber-division, and throughout the entire organization to help enable data-driven decisions company-wide.
